Six can sleep in style, with a king bed and en-suite bathroom, a queen bedroom, and a third bedroom with two single beds. Along with the spectacular view of Table Mountain and a great sunset over Robben Island everyday, the house has all the modern conveniences you could wish for: private pool, double garage and off-street parking, TV/ DVD with surround sound system, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, fully equipped kitchen, and fine linens. Relax on a large and luxurious sofa while sipping the local wine and soaking up the spectacular view of Table Mountain. The lounge is a raised area, resplendent in a deep yellow polished travertine. Traditional Tsolongolo Zulu hats adorn the wall, a Zebra skin the floor, a Cameroon stool hand carved from a single tree serves as a coffee table, and a pair of antique chairs from Mali finish the contrast with modern luxury. Sleep has never come so easy. The beds are equipped with pillowtop mattress covers, 100% cotton imported sheets with down duvets and down pillows. All the bedrooms have spacious built-in cupboards. The master bedroom has a king bed and the French sliding doors open onto the pool so you can wash the sleep away. The second double bedroom is equipped with a queen bed that looks onto the pool and fountain. The third bedroom has two single beds. Authentic African touches abound. Abalone Sunsets is equipped with two bathrooms, one en-suite. Both are tiled in travertine with mahogany furniture and modern European styled fittings. The en-suite has a bath with shower, both have linen shower curtains. The second bathroom has a double sized shower with body jets. The house has two sets of imported 100% cotton towels for six guests.

Kick back on a luxurious leather sofa and watch a film, cable television, or just listen to music on the surround sound Home Theatre system. The DVD player is multi-region so you can bring your DVDs from home to enjoy. Dine in style off a mahogany colonial style table that can seat eight in comfort with contemporary and high quality place settings. The dining room has a spectacular view of Table Mountain, the lights of the city by night seen across the Bay make for an unforgettable experience. The kitchen in Abalone Sunsets is fully equipped with all the cooking conveniences - Sabatier knives, stainless steel pots and cooking utensils. A Bosch dishwasher is on hand to clean up after the party. Abalone Sunsets has a private enclosed pool area tiled in travertine. A fountain provides the soothing sound of running water while you stoke up the barbecue for a traditional South African braai (barbecue).

Abalone Sunsets is located on the beachfront of Blouberg, approximately 20 minutes from Cape Town centre, and 30 minutes from Cape Town International Airport. The Durbanville Wine Route starts just fifteen minutes away, and further a field, the Stellenbosch and Paarl Wine Routes can be reached in 45 minutes.

Closer to home, there are bars and restaurants within a short walking distance, cinema, large shopping complex and banks within 5 minutes by car. One of the largest and most luxurious shopping malls can be found 15 minutes away at Canal Walk, as can Ratanga Junction, a themed entertainment park. A Casino is nearby too. The Cape Town Waterfront shopping centre and tourist attraction is in Cape Town harbour, an easy 20 minutes drive away.

Within four weeks of the booking date the deposit is non-refundable. No smoking inside the house. Families with children under the age of 18 will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability of risks associated with usage of the swimming pool. Security Deposit of one week rental required which will be fully refundable after you have left the house in good order. We accept payments via Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Direct Deposit.
