AlphaBed B&B is a Belgian owned Bed and Breakfast in the heart of the Helderberg region and is well situated in a tranquil residential area, where shady trees adorn the surrounding streets. The establishment is situated close to all restaurants, shops and the world famous wine estate 'Vergelegen' (2km). AlphaBed is an ideal base to explore the beautiful Cape Peninsula and the surrounding winelands. Nature lovers can enjoy hiking, mountain biking or bird watching in the local Helderberg Nature Reserve, which boasts examples of traditional Cape fynbos. Only 20 minutes from Cape Town International Airport, Somerset West is an ideal base for visiting Cape Town, The Waterfront, Hout Bay and Cape Point (to name but a few).
The charming thatched house offers three stylish guestrooms, each comprising a private bathroom and patio/lounge which overlook the swimming pool and beautiful garden. Magnificent views of the Hottentots Holland mountains accompany guests when breakfast is served in the dining room or the sunny outside patio. |

Take the N2, direction Somerset West, exit 43 (R44, Stellenbosch), take direction Somerset West at the traffic light on the bridge.
At the next traffic light, turn right direction Somerset West,
follow the main Road.
Pass the tourist info centre on your left.
The next traffic lights after this tourist centre, you turn left into Lourensford road (direction Hottentots Hollands Hospital)
Go right at the first traffic circle into Prospect Avenue,
you will find us at number 7 |
