Surrounded by mountains and with stunning views of the bay and the ocean, Amblewood offers peace and tranquillity. Our six en-suite bedrooms are individually and stylishly designed with great comfort in mind. Our beds are all extra-length and each room has a TV, tea tray, safe, hairdryer and private balcony or patio with magnificent views of the bay, the harbour and the famous Sentinel mountain. Our spacious and sunny Loft Suite has a lounge area with TV and an extra large balcony - perfect for watching the sun set while sipping a glass of wine. A full English and Continental breakfast is served in leisurely comfort on the pool deck. Upmarket stores, curio shops, banks, cafes and restaurants are all within walking distance and the beach is 10 minutes away by car. Tourist attractions include The World of Birds, which is the largest bird and small mammal sanctuary in Africa, Chapman's Peak Drive, the Sunday craft market and a variety of mountain hikes. Seven golf courses are within easy driving distance, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens is 15 minutes away and the Cape Winelands are 30 minutes by car. The V&A Waterfront and the Table Mountain cable car are 15 to 20 minutes by car. Fishing charters, horse-riding, sailing and boat trips are easily arranged and we are happy to organise airport shuttles, car hire, restaurant bookings and day tours if needed.
