Meklbosstrand is just north of Bloubergstrand and 30 minutes away from central Cape Town and V&A Waterfront. The GPS reading is more or less 33°42'30" South and 18°26'30" East. Here people still enjoy a peaceful country lifestyle at a seaside village.
We offer you a two bedroom flat (sleeps four) on ground level right in front on the beach in a large landscaped garden and safe off street parking. Bedding and towels are supplied, but please bring your own beach towels. You can relax in very safe surroundings and neighborhood with no crime record. Outdoor patio with built-up braai and garden furniture with a view over the ocean makes
your holiday splendid.
Enjoy long walks on unspoilt beach, with convenient shops close by to do last minute shopping. Koeberg Nature Reserve is on the doorstep and offers plenty of outdoor activity, such as bird watching and mountain bike trails as well as hiking trails.
For the ardent photographer the golden sunset backdrop and spectacular views of Table Mountain will provide pictures
to treasure forever.
The famous West Coast is less than one hour away along the R27 and you can easily go for lunch at Paternoster. Durbanville’s wine route is just over the hills and the quaint village Darling is not to far away. A remnant of the Battle of Blaauwberg, which dates back to 1806 when Brittan annex the Cape, is still visible.
The restaurants in our village vary from west coast fish and chips on a veranda, via a pizza parlor or past the finger licking chicken take away to eastern fusions on the pavement next to the Atlantic Ocean. Your holiday will be sheer magic.
