Bayview Cottage is a neat, well-appointed apartment in the delightful coastal village of Kommetjie. Kommetjie is a half hour drive south of Cape Town situated on the Atlantic seaboard of the Cape Peninsula. The Cottage is a comfortable five-minute walk from the sea, some of the Cape’s most beautiful beaches such as Kommetjie Beach, Long Beach and Noordhoek Beach. Across the road (a cul-de-sac) is Slangkop hill, which is a protected area
with stunning walks and views.
The cottage has two bedrooms on ground level – one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. The bathroom has all amenities including a bath and separate shower.
The upper level is a single, large room with magnificent views of Long Beach leading to Hout Bay, framed by the majestic Chapman’s Peak and Sentinel mountains. This level has an open-plan kitchen and dining room with a table for six. A Weber braai is supplied for your use on the large upper deck.
The lounge, on the upper level, has a comfortable leather couch and seating with full PVR DSTV and Wireless Internet access is also available. All rooms, upstairs and downstairs, have under floor heating.
The kitchen has all cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils necessary as well as a dish washer. Gas stove, large fridge, microwave oven, toaster and kettle complete the list of kitchen equipment. There is also an automatic washing machine and a tumble dryer.
There are some great restaurants close by and a large, modern shopping mall a 10 minute drive away.
This lovely cottage is a quiet family holiday destination with much to do locally and of course the great and exciting Cape Town being close enough for a morning or afternoon jaunt on the town.

From Cape Town CBD - Take M3 South to
Southern Suburbs and Cape Point.

Continue 15 - 20 minutes till you reach
M64 "T" Junction.

Turn right at traffic lights onto M64. Pass through one set of traffic lights then take the next turn off left
onto "Oukaapseweg" still the M64.

Enjoy the ride over the mountain pass till you turn
right at second set of traffic lights which puts you
on to Kommetjie Road.

From here it is 10 minutes to Kommetjie.

Travel through Kommetjie, past the superette
and turn left into Erica Road.

The cottage is on the left hand side.
