Bella Dom provides a number of tranquil spaces, expansive views over False Bay, proximity to beaches, shops and restaurants. The beach is a breath away, the sea lulls our guests to sleep at night, we hear whales and the cooing of doves. The home has been lovingly restored with original Oregon finishes, making maximum use of space and light.
Bella Dom is a home for all seasons, to suit the most discerning of guests – comfortably furnished and located in one of Cape Town’s oldest and noblest suburbs. Restaurants, museums, bookshops and boutiques stocked with many locally produced artworks and memorabilia are a short walk away, along this most picturesque of coastlines.
There are sea or mountain views from every room in the house, a 12-seater table on the outside deck and a plunge pool to cool off in while you watch the moon rising over the bay.
Accommodation consists of 4 bedrooms (all en-suite) – three with King or twin bed options and one Queen. Three of the bathrooms have bath and shower while the fourth has a shower only. There is a separate guest toilet. Two of the bedrooms have studies for reading or relaxing and folding doors to outside balconies. All the beds have down duvets and pillows and pure cotton linen. Bath towels and swimming towels are provided. All bathrooms have under-floor heating.
Bella Dom is serviced twice weekly. |

Downstairs, the sitting-room, dining-room, kitchen and sun-room flow into one another – providing abundant opportunities for interaction and lively debate. The bay windows are fitted with comfortable seats for relaxing, reading or just enjoying the view. There is also a fireplace for those chilly winter days.
Bella Dom has a fully integrated sound system throughout the house with speakers onto the pool and outdoor dining area, as well as a large flat screen TV with DSTV connection, a CD player and DVD player.
The kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher and tumble-dryer and microwave as well as a state-of-the-art gas/electric stove.
Bella Dom has an outside deck with fully equipped barbecue. Fresh fish are caught at Kalk Bay harbour daily and can be purchased off the boats. On the pool deck there is an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day at the beach
There is a remote-controlled gate and garaging for 2 cars. Also a full alarm system. |

Bella Dom is a non-smoking guest house. We would be most grateful if you respected our wishes in this regard.
You are welcome to smoke outside or on any of the balconies. |
