| This magnificent villa is situated 60km NE of Cape Town nestled between the vineyards and olive groves between Franschhoek (South Africa’s wine and culinary capital) Stellenbosch and Paarl overlooking the famous wine estates of Boschendal and Plaisir de Merle. |

The villa is centrally located in what is one of the most beautiful valleys in the world. Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves with views up into the mountains, the villa is perched on the side of a hill and has been designed to ensure that guests are able to enjoy the incredible setting. The location offers guests the opportunity to enjoy the beaches of Cape Town (30 mins), wine tasting or dining at one of the many wine states in the area. The cosmopolitan villages of Franschhoek and Stellenbosch (10 mins) with their historic architecture and world rated restaurants come alive at night with wine bars and el fresco dining.
The valley has 2 fantastic golf courses. The Paarl course is 5 mins away while the Pearl Valley course is 10 mins and is a Jack Nicolas signature course and rated no.3 in South Africa. The villa is equipped with 2 sets of golf clubs and Pearl Valley has additional sets which can be hired. For those guests who have more athletic ambitions, mountain biking, hiking and horseback riding through the vineyards and up into the mountains is part of everyday life in the valley. The villa is equipped with 2 mountain bikes. For those wishing to work out, the villa also has a gymnasium equipped with an elliptical cross trainer, Weider Club weights machine, electric message chair, skipping ropes, exercise balls etc. |

When not exploring the area, the villa offers the ultimate setting to relax and enjoy the tranquillity of the surroundings. Relax around the large pool (12m x 5m) or enjoy an afternoon nap in the summerhouse which is equipped with a multi level wood burning barbeque as well as a gas grill. An 8 seat table allows for outdoor dining while the large couch and lazy chairs are the ideal spot for your afternoon siesta.
There are 4 large bedrooms, all en-suite with full showers and baths. The master suite has a spa bath. All bathrooms have under floor heating and heated towel rails. 3 of the bedrooms are on the upper level have large doors opening onto private verandas. The 4th bedroom is a separate suite off the summerhouse and opens onto the pool area. All the bedrooms have a couch or comfortable reading chairs, TV and magnificent views. |

There are a number of entertainment areas in the villa. The TV room is equipped with satellite TV, DVD etc. This room is ideal for guests with children and together with the games room in the cellar which is equipped with a ping pong table and a ¼ size pool table and the swimming pool will ensure that the kids are always active. The kids are also welcome to fish for Bass in the estates dams. The villa has 2 small rods. Trout fishing can be arranged at one of the
nearby farms.
The kitchen has been designed to entertain in with an open fire, couch and kitchen table which seats 8. The large wraparound glass windows and doors which open onto the veranda overlooking the vineyards allows one to enjoy the magnificent setting whilst cooking. The kitchen is equipped with Globel knives, Jamie Oliver pots, Nespresso machine, steamers etc. The valley is famous for the high quality of cuisine and if you would like to hire a chef for a special occasion or for your entire stay this can be arranged but must be done well in advance. |

The formal dining room has a table that seats 10 while the lounge has large comfortable chairs and a leather couch. The wine bar with large wraparound glass windows makes for a great location for sundowners while enjoying the African sun set against the backdrop of the Simonsberg mountain. The lounges, dining room, wine bar and kitchen all open onto a large elevated terrace which overlooks the lawns
and vineyard. |

No visit to South Africa is complete without a stay in the Winelands. The villa offers you a central exclusive location to enjoy the entire Western Cape.
The villa is fully air conditioned, which is a necessity in the late summer. There is 24 hour on site security and the villa is cleaned daily (except on Christmas day and New Years day). Washing and ironing will be done within reason and sheets and towels will be changed every 2nd day. Chauffeur service from the airport (30mins) or to the surrounding restaurants and villages is available and will be quoted directly for each trip. Preferential rates on the hire of luxury German cars while you are in residence can be provided. |
