It is also well set up for entertaining, with three distinct patio areas, including an upper deck with an inspiring views, and undercover barbecue facilities. The interior includes an atrium dining room with French doors opening into the garden, four lounge spaces, and four bedrooms. We have satellite HD TV, free wi-fi, and a ten metre lap pool. The sociable open-plan kitchen has a hidden service area that contains the usual washing and drying facilities. The house is serviced by our experienced domestic worker, Ms Linda Plaatjies, who has been with us for over ten years. She will do the dishes and take care of your laundry at no extra cost, though she charges a nominal fee for ironing. We are under ten minutes drive from the Constantia Village shopping mall, and just over ten minutes away from four different wine estates. There are two golf courses in the vicinity, and we are just under twenty minutes away from Muizenberg and Hout Bay beaches.
Beaches Hout Bay, Muizenberg, Fish Hoek and the entire False Bay coast. Hout Bay and Muizenberg are 15 minutes away. From Hout Bay there are boat trips to Seal Island, sunset cruises around the Peninsula, etc. Restaurants and pubs: about fifteen restaurants, and several pubs such as Peddlars on the Bend, Klein Constantia, Alphen and Buitenverwagting, all within a ten minute radius. Wine estates: Groot Constantia, Klein Constantia, Buitenverwachting all less than ten minutes away. Wine tasting, retail sales and restaurants. Mountain access: it’s a five minute drive to Cecilia Forest; from there you can walk to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens in 30-40 minutes (less than ten minutes by car).
