Shelley Point Estate is nestled between 3 private beaches on a small peninsula, which creates the illusion of being on an island. A Mediterranean climate offers more sunshine and milder temperatures than Cape Town, making it a popular
year-round destination.

Less than one hour and thirty minutes from Cape Town's 2010 World Cup stadium, the estate offers 24 hour security, a state-of-the-art country club and spa with an award-winning 9-hole golf course, sparkling swimming pool, gym, sports facilities, restaurants, bars and a day care centre.

Tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac you will find Benign - a charming double-story, thatched-roof, 3-bedroom seaside residence with unspoilt ocean views, twenty metres from the magnificent beach of Britannia Bay and only five minutes walk from the golf course.

The house accommodates six people. The main bedroom (ocean view) has a double bed, and is en suite, with a bath and a toilet.

The second bedroom (ocean view) has twin beds. The ocean view rooms are joined by a balcony with a spectacular view of the ocean. The sound of the crashing waves will lull you to sleep until you wake up to the fresh scent of the Atlantic breeze.

All bedrooms have built-in cupboards. The bathroom that services the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms, contains a bath, shower, and toilet.

The third bedroom is a smaller room with twin beds, with no view. Fluffy mohair blankets on all beds and panel heaters in all rooms will keep you warm in winter.

Downstairs an open plan kitchen/lounge/dining room area spills out onto a patio with a built-in braai (barbeque) and a lawn. A fireplace makes this space cosy in winter, when you can snuggle up with a book or watch satellite TV or DVD's from the well-stocked local DVD shop.

Digital prints on canvas from photos taken on the island of Corsica and the West of Provence decorate the house and give it a holiday atmosphere.

Benign is less than 25 minutes from the West Coast National Park, a major attraction in flower season
(August and September).

24 hour security monitors the estate, with regular patrols, and strict signing in/out of guests.
