High up the Hottentots Holland mountain range, amongst hectares of indigenous fynbos, and on a most spectacular spot overlooking the breathtaking Cape Peninsula, sits Bezweni Lodge. This stylish mountain retreat is a haven of peace and tranquility and is the perfect place to relax and unwind, use as a base to explore the Cape or to hold a conference.

The lodge features four supremely comfortable and spacious rooms, one Executive suite and our stunning Fynbos self catering cottage.

Part of a large-scale social responsibility project and eco-reserve, we invest heavily in the education and job creation for local staff, and the protection and preservation of the beautiful environment. We have worked hard to restore the surrounding area, and cleared most of the aliens. This work is being rewarded with the return of the fynbos in all its beauty. Many flowers and a large variety of birds can be seen all around the Lodge.

Bezweni Lodge is situated on a private estate only 15 minutes from the beach and Somerset West, 35 minutes from Cape Town International Airport and
50 minutes from Cape Town city centre.

All rooms have sea view terraces, but also oversee the Holland Hottentots Mountains from the ensuite bathroom. The beautiful thatch roof is visible from inside all rooms, creating a true African atmosphere. Due to its earthy tones and thatch roof it blends in with the nature on the mountain area. Through the semi private patio in front of the room, you have access to the swimming pool with Jacuzzi. On the first floor we have our Executive (family) Suite, including a beautiful private lounge, fully equipped kitchen, en-suite bathroom (shower only) and private terrace.

The Fynbos cottage is Bezweni’s only self catering cottage, tucked away between mountains and trees, facing a lovely khoi pond overlooking the Hottentots Holland Mountains. Bezweni Lodge is an ideal location to host all kinds of events. We can accommodate anything from small, intimate conferences, workshops, teambuilding sessions, functions and weddings. The lodge can be set up in various ways depending your requirements. We have a conference room that holds up to 10 guests on a long table or 20 guests in cinema style. clear A cosy lounge for more informal meetings or breakaway sessions. Our sunroom can be used for business lunches, wedding ceremonies, sundowners and informal drink parties. Our pool area and sundeck can be used for lazy afternoon lunches and cocktail functions or outside weddings.
