'Bijdezee' (Dutch for 'at the sea') Self-Catering Apartments are located in the historical and characterful Muizenberg Village about one hundred metres from the famous Muizenberg beach and the tranquil Zandvlei lagoon and bird sanctuary. It is within easy walking distance to numerous good restaurants, shops, St James beach and Kalk Bay with its antique shops and quaint fishing harbour. 'Bijdezee' is just twenty-five minutes drive from Cape Town, the V&A Waterfront, historic Simon's Town, and Table Mountain. It is ideally situated to visit all the attractions in the Cape Peninsula and surrounds including Cape Point, Robben Island, the Winelands and the many beautiful beaches in the Cape Peninsula.

'Bijdezee' is a prestigious residence designed by the famous architect Sir Herbert Baker and carefully restored to its former glory in 2003. The residence consists of five up-market self-catering apartments each with its own entrance and complete privacy. Apartments have luxurious finishes including wooden floors, high ceilings, built in cupboards, maple or granite kitchen tops and tasteful furnishings.

A 50% deposit is required to secure reservations. The balance is payable on arrival. Bookings for an extended period qualify for a 10% discount per month up to a maximum of 50%. Special arrangements can be made for extended bookings. Payments must be made directly into the Bijdezee bank account for which details will be provided on confirmation of your reservation. In the event of a cancellation, clients will be refunded subject to a re-let and a 10% administration fee.
CHECK IN & OUT TIMES
Check-in time is from 14h00 and check-out time is before 11h00. These times are flexible provided other guests are not inconvenienced.
