The Blue Dolphin concept is simple, natural and refreshing. Four very comfortable rooms, with views of the sea, a veranda with a day-bed for lying on and listening to the surf, a sandy beach that stretches from the house and miles of nobody and nothing but only beach.

The house is open, wooden, and breezy, with whites and blues dominating in tune with the beach and sea. All you have to do is to lazily watch out for dolphins and whales, kick sand along the strand, eat your breakfast and chat to the owner or other guests.
Book early for the flower season (end of August / beginning September) to experience one of nature’s wonders. The dune fynbos blooms impressively and a rash of tiny brightly coloured flowers emerge like magic from the very sand itself.

The owner run, four star graded B&B has four en-suite bedrooms which are well kitted out with heated towel rails, satellite TV, mohair blankets, silk filled duvets, electric under blankets, great beds and linen, bar fridges, coffee and tea making facilities, fans and a turn down service.

Breakfast is an affair and is served on the veranda overlooking the beach, a mere 20 big steps away. A full English breakfast is served and only fresh produce are used to create a gastronomic feast. Breakfast could be interrupted by the sighting of whales, dolphins, seals or a flock of Cormorants or Terns.





Next to the Blue Dolphin B&B is the two bedroom en-suite self catering cottage. There is a giant fireplace in the lounge for the chilly winter evenings, a wide sea-facing veranda and a track straight to the beach.

Equipped with all the modern facilities from an eye level oven, dishwasher, hob, deep freeze, fridge, cutlery, crockery and all linen and towels. All you have to bring is your own food, wine, wood and beach towels and you are on the beach for a relaxing sea holiday. The cottage is ideal for families with children as it is close enough to the beach to watch the kids play on the beach while you are having a braai or drink on the veranda.

Baby Dolphin Self Catering Cottage
R1200 per night for the first 4 guests.
This rate stays the same i.r.i. there is one or four guests.

Guest 5 and guest 6 pay R300 per night each per night.

We do not permit more than 6 guests at any given time in the cottage.
Children of all ages are seen as guests.
A minimum of two nights reservation is required in the cottage
