Situated on a 3000ha game reserve located between Mossel Bay and George, and set in amongst spectacular mountain ranges, the child-friendly (children aged 6 yrs and over are welcome) and malaria-free Botlierskop Private Game Reserve offers an immense diversity of wildlife and activities coupled with luxurious, tented accommodation in beautifully appointed private suites discreetly positioned along the riverbank.

Botlierskop is easily accessible from Cape Town – less than a 4½ hour scenic drive from the Mother City and lies in the world renowned Garden Route, just off the N2 highway.

The reserve is in close proximity to George Airport, a 25 minute drive.

The reserve comprises of over 26 different species of animals and more than 200 bird species. Wildlife at the reserve includes the rare Black Impala, Rhino, Buffalo, Giraffe, Mountain Zebra, Eland and Lions (in a seperate enclosure) and elephants.

The pool with its’ breathtaking views of the valley below is balm for the soul and wonderfully relaxing. The large open-air deck, with its’ unobstructed valley vista, seamlessly integrates the unique fauna and flora of the area with soothing African bush ambience in the distance. The Spa situated on the riverbank surrounded by magnificent mountain scenery consists of two treatment rooms named Fauna and flora. The interior matches the exterior, bringing nature indoor but with a touch of elegance and comfort.
