Five well appointed air-conditioned bedrooms are housed in old converted stables with private verandas. Each room is individually styled and includes queen/king or twin sized beds with 100% cotton linen, television, tea tray and hair dryer and complimentary wine.
Rooms overlook lavender fields and Groenberg Mountain on the one side and are centred around a large herb garden on the other. |

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast on the veranda at the manor house. Homemade bread, cakes and croissants may be enjoyed with a selection of homemade jams and preserves, followed by a full English breakfast with free-range eggs. For those seeking relaxation, simply soak up the sun on the private veranda or next to the pristine pool, overlooked by the Limietberg range. |

For the more active, take a stroll onto the foot on Groenberg, through neighbouring vineyards. Alternatively, sit and sample local wines, take a drive up the Bain’s Kloof pass or hike in the mountains. However you enjoy your day be sure to return to the Retreat for complimentary afternoon tea – a selection of freshly made cakes, biscuits and refreshments await. |
