  
  
  
This is a fantastic bathing spot, with white sand beaches and grey granite outcrops. It is also home to one of two breeding colonies of the African Penguin, making it possible to swim with penguins or have them come ashore and waddle between bathers. There are excellent board-walks and viewing platforms for visitors to view the penguins. Swimming is permitted at Boulders beach. The protected beaches make Boulders a haven when the wind is blowing elsewhere. It also has a very gentle slope and small waves which children enjoy.
There is a fine golf course close by
and easy access to many exciting places
in Cape Town.

Simon's Town has a rich maritime history dating back to
1743. The town has a number of museums. Situated
200m from a sheltered beach, fine restaurants and in
walking distance of shops, Cape Penguin Cottage is
ideally located near Boulders Beach.

The cottage has an open plan lounge/dining area leading onto a wooden deck. There are excellent sea views from the kitchen and deck. |

There are 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a queen size bed and en suite; the second bedroom has a double bed and the third bedroom has a single bed. |

The fully equipped kitchen includes a microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. |

Servicing can be arranged at an extra cost. |

Children are welcome. There is a small selection of toys and books for them to enjoy. |

The cottage has a flight of stairs. |

Rates are dependent on both the season and length
of stay. We welcome stays from a weekend to
six months. |
