A number of safe swimming beaches, popular with divers and canoeists alike, are within easy walking distance, as is the Simon’s Town Country Club with its nine-hole golf course and bowls and squash facilities.
Take a scenic stroll along a beautiful coastal path to the famous Boulders Beach situated in the Boulders National Park, which is the breeding ground of the Jackass Penguin. |

Explore the historic town center of Simon’s Town, or visit the Waterfront shops and restaurants and admire the yachts moored in the picturesque sailing harbour. Visit the nearby towns of Fish Hoek, the historic fishing village of Kalk Bay with its eclectic mix of restaurants, galleries and shops or beautiful St James. View dramatic Cape Point, situated in the Cape Point Nature Reserve, only a ten minute drive away.
Other attractions in the area include Cape Point Ostrich Farm, Solole Game Reserve, and the popular Mineral World and Scratch Patch. The Constantia Wine Route and the Kirstenbosch National Botanic Gardens are within a 20 minute drive and the center of Cape Town, the Stellenbosch wine route and Cape Town International Airport are all a 45 minute drive away. |

Froggy Cottage is a comfortable timber home on two levels which can accommodate up to ten people, and is ideal for a relaxing family sea-side holiday. The top floor comprises a fully equipped open plan kitchen with a breakfast bar, a dining area and lounge and the master bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped, and includes a cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer. The dining area has an eight-seater table. The comfortably furnished lounge area has double sliding doors offering splendid ocean views over False Bay and the fynbos garden below, and has television with a DVD player/VCR and a satellite dish (bring your own sim-card).
The main bedroom is furnished with a king size bed as well as a single bed, and has sliding doors that open onto magnificent ocean views. There is a full en-suite bathroom and dressing room.The ground floor comprises a further two bedrooms each furnished with twin beds, plus a studio/playroom furnished with twin stack beds, and a bathroom with shower and bath, and a separate toilet. |

The studio opens onto a paved patio leading into the garden, which has splendid ocean views and is ideal for barbecues and outdoor entertaining. The house has a double garage with remote controlled access, and is protected by a security alarm with armed response. There is also a pre-pay telephone. Linen, towels and barbecue (braai) equipment are provided. Children are very welcome and a baby cot is available by prior arrangement. Conditions: no pets allowed, and no smoking allowed indoors.
Peak season (December, January) R1,400 per day.
Mid season (February to November) R1000 per day.
Discounts apply for long stays (7 nights or more)
and the green season (May to August).
