The name "Fynbos Villa" is derived from the name of the flowers from the protea family.

Fynbos Villa is a lovely 14 room Victorian styled Guest House centered in the heart of Stellenbosch.
English, Afrikaans, German and Dutch are spoken at Fynbos Villa.

Fynbos Villa offers its guests two types of accommodation: Bed & Breakfast, and Self-catering.

The 14 guest rooms feature double and single beds with quality mattresses. The rooms (which include luxury family apartments) are furnished with beautiful Victorian, Cape Dutch furniture, T.V. 's (satellite), telephones, wireless internet, desks, coffee/tea facilities, hairdryers and each room has got a private en suite bathroom. Fynbos Villa also offers its discerning guests safe undercover parking on our premises, a 4 x 8 meters solar heated swimming pool, lush gardens, bird-watching and secure surroundings. We include 4 golf sets as complimentary extras to our guests, to use during their stay. We can arrange PGA Golf tuition at all times.


Fynbos Villa is situated 5 minutes stroll to the Town Center, Traditional Restaurants, Shops, Art Galleries, Museums, Stellenbosch University, Music Conservatoire, Botanical Garden and Coetzenburg International Sports Grounds. The Stellenbosch Botanical Garden is one of the very few Botanical Gardens worldwide to be situated in a town! We are situated 10 minutes drive to Stellenbosch Golf Course, and easy driving distance to other Golf Courses i.e. Erinvale, Strand, De Zalze, Pearl Valley, Devonvale and Boschenmeer. We are within easy driving distance to all the Wine Estates, nature reserves and the beaches of Gordon's Bay. Fynbos Villa is situated a mere 30 minutes drive to Cape Town International Airport, Cape Town and the Waterfront. Fynbos Villa Guest House is the ideal venue for the golfer, corporate visitor, leisure traveler and groups (up to 30 guests).

Fynbos Villa Guest House is graded three stars by the National Grading Council of South Africa. This Guest House has been nominated number one establishment in Stellenbosch by the Stellenbosch Tourism Bureau. This award winning Guest House always offers reasonable tariffs.
