 We are situated on the lower slopes of Stellenbosch Mountain, in a quiet, safe and leafy residential area, yet only 3 mins. by car to the centre of town.

Hazelwood House has 6 double bedrooms, all en-suite. The cottage 'Loerie' (sleeps 4/5), with 2 bedrooms, kitchen and large sitting room and 'Roller' (a spacious studio sleeping 2/3 with separate kitchen) have self catering facilities, including braai.

All rooms are named after South African birds and the decor of each reflects their appropriate colours. The spacious rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, mini bar/fridge, TV with Mnet, safe, hairdryers, fans in summer, heaters and electric blankets in winter. All have private patios leading to the lush tropical gardens and enormous salt water swimming pool (proper swimming possible!). Self catering accommodation, as well as rooms booked on a bed and breakfast basis, is also serviced once (and usually twice) daily. Private off road parking.



Golf courses close by, the sea and beaches only 20 mins. away, Cape Town 40 mins by car/taxi and many vineyards, hiking trails and riding within a radius of 10 kms.

Jane and Peter, the live-in owners, are happy to give advice on the above and also the numerous restaurants in Stellenbosch and further afield.
