Located in the heart of Cape Town’s historical centre, this self-catering apartment offers superb accommodation to the leisure and business alike.

We invite you to relax in comfortable luxury interior, consisting of double-volume living space and 3.5m high windows looking out onto Cape Town City Hall from where Nelson Mandela addressed South Africans for the first time after 27 years in prison. Beyond City Hall the apartment boasts sweeping views of the city and of Table Mountain.

Heritage Loft provides a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and lounge-dining room on the lower level and double bedroom on the upper level. Two air-cooling systems provide a welcome relief in summer months and residents are invited to utilize the roof-top swimming-pool in the neighbouring building that is accessible via a sky-bridge. Access is also provided to a well-equipped gymnasium in the building. Excellent security is provided throughout on a 24 hour basis, secure parking is included and the apartment has a safe in which valuables may be locked.

The apartment itself is located in one of the finest examples of Art Deco architecture, the Mutual Heights Building. Opened in 1940, the building was hailed as the tallest in Africa, apart from the Pyramids in Egypt and today is in itself a tourist attraction as it has been declared a South African National Heritage Site. It boasts a double volume entrance hall, paneled with black marble, a detailed stone frieze depicting historical South African events, and life size carvings of African tribesmen.
Mutual Heights was also one of the first buildings in the Inner City to be revitalised as part of the Inner City Revitalisation process, which has seen many office buildings in the inner city being converted into apartments.

Located centrally from the City’s main tourist attractions and the Central Business District and Foreshore, Heritage Loft is within walking distance to entertainment, shopping, culture, restaurants and cafes.
