The Farmhouse comprises of a country kitchen, with built in braai, an elegant dining area seating up to eight people, three deluxe suites, each with full bathroom and under floor heating.

In our stylishly decorated rooms, we use only the finest linen and premium amenities to ensure that your stay is memorable. Apart from the main house, we have a private pool and pool bar area.

Nestled in the magnificent Franschhoek Valley, only 45 minutes from Cape Town, Heuwelsig ‘Plaashuis’ is situated on a working farm. This attractive property offers self-catering with three luxury suites.

Heuwelsig is located five kilometers outside the town of Franschhoek, offering you the serenity of farm living, but also the convenience and easy access to Franschhoek and its superb restaurants and cultural attractions.

Franschhoek owes its existence to the French Huguenots, who fled their homeland in the late 1600’s, when Protestantism was outlawed. Today Franschhoek is known as “The Gourmet Capital of South Africa”, with eight of South Africa’s “Top 100 Restaurants” located here. The character of Franschhoek is reflected in the hospitality of its people and the scenic beauty of this valley, where vineyards stretches across the mountain slopes, enchanting the hearts of locals and tourists alike.

	Minimum stay: 2 night ( 3 night over long week-end)
	Check-in time: 2pm / Check out: 11am
	The full amount is payable on signature of this agreement, the receipt thereof shall constitute acceptance of this agreement on behalf of the owner.
	The booking document is only valid for 24 hours from the above date after that the house is free to be rented if there is any other interested party.

Cancelled bookings:

		More than 1 month prior – 10% administration fee.
		Between 2 weeks and 1 month – full 50% deposit.
		Less than 2 weeks – The full amount of your stay.

	In the unlikely event that we cannot for some reason provide you with the house stipulated in the booking document, we reserve the right to refund the total amount paid for the house. We will not be held liable for any cancellation charges for travel arrangements.
	The house is accepted as including all furniture, fittings and accessories “voetstoots” and in the condition in which they are found and shall be left in the same good order and condition, fair wear and tear accepted.
	The guest shall be responsible for any shortages, breakages, damage or loss.
