Klein Uitkyk is situated in Kleinmond, a tranquil beach town nestled between the Kogelberg Mountains, the Bot River Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean . It is in the heart of the Kogelberg Biosphere, which is renowned for its high density of Fynbos hosting about 1600 species of indigenous plants.
A number of wild/vlei horses are often seen on the banks of the lagoon.
The quaint Harbour Road development offers an interesting array of shops and restaurants.
Situated on the Overberg Whale Coast, Kleinmond is a whale watching destination from July to December every year whilst Kleinmond’s long sandy beach with its Blue flag status promises a relaxing summer holiday.
All along the coast line there are beautiful well kept path ways for nature lovers and hikers.
The mountains have interesting roads for the keen mountain biker.
Hermanus is only 30 minutes away and the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens and the Stoney Point Penguin colony 15 minutes away in neighbouring Bettys Bay.
Cape Town International Airport is an hours drive from Kleinmond.
