After a delicious and leisurely breakfast on the terrace, laze under an umbrella by the pool during the long summer days, or curl up in front of a cosy log fire in winter. Discover one of the quiet shady spots in the garden for reading or just gazing at the view and absorbing the heady scent of lavender and roses. For the more energetic there is plenty to do locally - ranging from wine and food tasting at the many wine estates in the valley - to golf, fly fishing, horseback and bicycle riding - all of which we can arrange for you. There is also the simple option of a little retail therapy in the high street. At the end of the day enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace outside your room at La Cabriere Country House while watching the sunset, before a memorable dinner at one of the many excellent restaurants in the village.

Each of the six bedrooms has been individually decorated to provide an elegant and extremely comfortable retreat for guests. The Poolside and Garden rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, and all rooms have a ceiling fan, underfloor heating, minibar and television (with Satellite channels). Poolside rooms enjoy cosy open log-fires for those chillier winter evenings. We have Queen-size, King-size and Twin beds. Pure cotton bed linen, bathrobes and heated towel rails are provided to ensure your every comfort.
Franschhoek in the Cape Winelands is a destination described by many a traveller as one of the most memorable experiences to be had.
