Lourens River Guesthouse is an accommodation facility with Bed & Breakfast and a self-catering unit; a house for all seasons, full of charm and a relaxed informal atmosphere with cosy guestrooms. We offer 5 rooms; four are en-suite and one has a private bathroom. One bathroom is built to accommodate people with a wheelchair. The rooms are differently, lovely and very cosy furnished with a lot of antique furniture, but the mattresses are all new. You can also book our new-built self-catering flat. It offers 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large room where you can cook and dine and relax at the sunken lounge area. Equipped with big windows to let the light flow in and underfloor heating for the chilly nights. This self-catering unit accommodates up to 6 persons. Breakfast can be arranged on request. Our family-run, new and beautiful Guesthouse in peaceful settings is ideally located beside all town amenities, approx. 2 km from the beach. Cape Town and the airport are a short drive away. Or start fascinating day trips and explore the Winelands, different scenic nature reserves with indigenous fynbos, the coastal region or the Cape. Travel along the coast to the direction of Hermanus and watch the whales (between July and November). |
The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden with old trees. You can cool down in the big sparkling swimming pool, relax in the sun or meet interesting people sitting around the braai fire. Price reduction for senior S.A. and Namibian citizen. We can give you advice how you can claim VAT back (as non South African citizen) at the end of your journey.
