Merbaka Cottage is situated off leafy Village Lane and is unique in its own way. It is the perfect retreat for a quiet weekend away from the busy day-to day lifestyle, or for a longer stay to relax.
Once here, one need not completely rely on a car as, The Farm Village with its mouthwatering restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and Food Barn, is a mere 3 minute walk away. The Foodbarn boasts with fresh breads, pastries, wines and not to forget, unbelievable chocolate cake! The Farm Village also has magnificent gift shops and is, (only if you really need to use your laptop) a Wi-fi hot spot. |

Merbaka Cottage is situated on two acres of rustic land. The cottage offers complete tranquillity. It has high ceilings with wooden floors.
The cottage is fresh and simply furnished. A large wooden deck with verandah offers the opportunity to enjoy the spectacular birdlife, or just to sit and watch the majestic Chapman’s Peak Mountain or, watch the sun set.
Both the Atlantic and Indian Oceans with its sandy beaches can be reached by car in a matter of ten/fifteen minutes.
The cottage has a double bed and four single beds. Open plan kitchen, dining sitting area. It has two separate showers comprising of a hand basin and toilet. The cottage has a gas hob, electric kettle, toaster, microwave and two bar fridges. It is equipped with the necessary crockery, cutlery, dishwashing liquid and kitchen towels for your stay. |

There is a Weber-style braai. with a complimentary bag of briquettes .Bedding as well as towels are
provided upon arrival.
Visitors that need to do sightseeing – Cape Point, Cape Town Waterfront, Table Mountain, Simon’s Town, Hout Bay, Chapman’s Peak Drive and the Constantia Wine Route, is right on your doorstep. |
