This cottage is an historic Cape Dutch one-bedroom cottage, beautifully restored and tastefully decorated and furnished by the current owners.

Oak Cottage is located in a private estate in the middle of the village and nearby some awesome vineyards.

It has a double bedroom with large en-suite bathroom, and an open plan, fully equipped kitchen.

The cottage also has a very comfortable living room with patio doors opening onto a verandah with breathtaking views of a private garden. A patio overlooks a stream.

The house is fully-equipped and includes garden furniture, microwave and satellite TV.

The house has a security gate and has off-street parking.
All linen and towels, including pool towels, are provided.

The property is fully serviced every 4th day by a permanent staff of two.

Oak Cottage is within about a 5 minute walk of the main High Street where you can eat and browse among the many Franschhoek restaurants, boutique shops and art galleries,

This one-bedroom cottage is close to the highly regarded Le Bon Vivant restaurant and the beautiful wine estate, Dieu Donne

The local wine estates produce some of South Africa's finest wines and Franschhoek has several of the best restaurants in South Africa. Franschhoek is within easy reach of Cape Town (Airport 45 minutes) and lovely beaches
along the coast.

Outdoor activities include walking, horse-riding,
mountain-biking, and fly-fishing for trout in the local dams.
