Oaksrest Vineyards Guest Farm is nestled in the fertile valley of Dwarsriver, 10 minutes drive from Ladismith at the foot of the legendary Towerkop, the 2nd highest mountain peak in the Western Cape, and surrounded by spectacular fruit orchards and wine and table grape vineyards.

Formerly known as Eikendal Vineyards the farm has been renamed to Oaksrest Vineyards Guest Farm in 2011 and the Family of the farm has, lovingly made a lot of changes over the last 10 years to the current establishment to further and enhance the “Rest” and “Tranquility” for each and every Guest at Oaksrest, each with its own special character and luxurious comfort.

Oaksrest Vineyards is a working wine and table grape Guest Farm and is a versatile venue! .It doesn’t only cater as accommodation, but also a venue for different functions – from weddings and birthdays to seminars and year-end functions and offering a choice of accommodation (Bed & Breakfast or Self Catering) that provides accommodation from 1 person up to a group of 42.

Accommodation available is:
• The Pinotage Farmhouse for up to 10 Guests
• The Chenin Blanc Cottage for up to 10 Guests
• The Colombar Facility for up to 22 Guests
The Colombar facility also serves as a stylish, intimate venue centre for exclusive functions of up to 80 guests and dining can be enjoyed as formal cuisine or relaxed, traditional braais. Conversation corners offer private nooks for the discerning guests, and spectacular sunsets and mountain views can be experienced from the fountain outside.

How to find us? COORDINATES Decimal Degrees (WGS84) Latitude: -33.476359 Longitude: 21.169032 Degrees, Minutes & Seconds Latitude: S33 28 34 Longitude: E21 10 08 GPS Latitude: S 33 28.582 Longitude: E 21 10.142 From Barrydale: Travel in an easterly direction from Barrydale towards Ladismith along the R62 for 65 km. Turn left at the Laingsburg road and continue for 11 km until you reach a T-junction. Turn right towards Ladismith and after 5.2 km turn left at the first Dwarsrivier turn-off which is just after a sharp bend to the left so please be careful not to miss this turn-off. Follow the dirt road for 3.7 km and cross the low tide bridge and turn to your left and follow the dirt road for 600 metres and you will find Oaksrest Vineyards on your left. From Oudtshoorn: Travel in a westerly direction from Oudtshoorn towards Ladismith along the R62 for 99 km (do not turn left towards Barrydale or Cape Town at Route 62 garage in Ladismith) and follow the right hand 90 degree turn just after the big white church on your left. After approximately 200 metres you will get to a T-junction. Turn left on the Laingsburg road (R323) and travel for 9 km where you will find the second Dwarsrivier turn-off on your right. Follow the dirt road for 3.7 km and cross the low tide bridge and turn to your left and follow the dirt road for 600 metres and you will find Oaksrest Vineyards on your left. From Riversdale: Travel along the R323 from Riversdale to Ladismith for 68 km. Turn right towards Ladismith for 3.2 km and turn left at the Laingsburg road and continue for 11 km until you reach a T-junction. Turn right towards Ladismith and after 5.2 km turn left at the first Dwarsrivier turn-off which is just after a sharp bend to the left so please be careful not to miss this turn-off. Follow the dirt road for 3.7 km and cross the low tide bridge and turn to your left and follow the dirt road for 600 metres and you will find Oaksrest Vineyards on your left.
