The Historic Post House in Greyton was built in 1860 and is situated in the heart of Greyton. The spacious guest rooms are newly renovated and each has its own unique character. The staff are efficient and friendly, the food delicious and the atmosphere delightful.
The Post House offers you a wonderful weekend getaway, a mid week conference facility and an intimate country wedding venue. |

The Posthouse Country Pub has a cozy nook with a large wood burning fire that crackles away in winter and often locals and guests can be found savoring the delicious meals, reading the paper or enjoying a game of

Our spacious bedrooms are decorated in a fresh country style and each has their own veranda which leads out onto a pretty garden. Breakfast is served between 8:00am and 10.30 in The Post House Restaurant
or on the restaurant veranda. Breakfast is included with all accommodation packages.
Each room is serviced on a daily basis.
The bedrooms have their own unique style / character and although newly refurbished have kept the "Country Feel" throughout. There are no televisions in the bedrooms but there is a television in the pub for sports viewing. |

When you are ready to venture out of The Posthouse, you will find plenty to keep you busy in Greyton.
The beautiful encircling mountains offer hiking trails, waterfalls and populations of wild flowers. There are marked walking trails and these range from one hour "strolls" to two day calorie burning stuff.
Greyton boasts a variety of art galleries, eateries and wonderful shops that have captured the spirit of Greyton and offer something for the more discerning shopper to a "thoughtful" gift for someone special.

 The Greyton Winter Festival is held on the long weekend in June just before the winter solstice. It hosts art exhibitions with candle lit evening walks around the town during which the galleries offer warm Gluwein. The Genadendal Brass Band and other musicians play at various venues. Horse carts are available to take people on tours of the village. |
