SEAWARD LODGE B&B is a family home Bed and Breakfast establishment hosted by Jeanette and Michael Aylward who go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Guests are accommodated in our twin bedded (can be together if required) en suite bedrooms. Each room has panoramic sea views across False Bay and beyond to the distant Helderberg Mountain Range. Each room is fitted with a bar fridge and also contains tea/coffee making facilities.

Below us are the beautiful swimming beaches of Fishermans, Franks and Windmill.







From our sun decks can be seen the beaches also the nearby Golf Course of the Simons Town Country Club with it’s additional facilities of bowls and a squash court.

From early September to well in to the New Year we are blessed with the delight of being able to see the Whales which visit the Bay during this period. Seals as well as Dolphins can also be seen frolicking in the clear blue waters throughout the year.

At the nearby popular Boulders Beach National Park are to be seen the unique colony of the world famous Jackass penguin. One can even swim with these delightful creatures in the nearby sheltered coves.

Less than twenty minutes drive from Seaward Lodge B&B is the Cape Point National Park-The Cape of Good Hope. A few meters from the entrance to the National Park is to be found the interesting Cape Point Ostrich Farm.

In Simon’s Town and in close proximity to Seaward Lodge B&B there are fine restaurants offering a selection of the freshest of the locally caught fish and other sea food delicacies as well as local and International dishes.

Many of these restaurants are situated right on the waters edge with wonderful sea and mountain views.

Near the centre of Simon`sTown can be found the S.A. Navy museum situated in the Mast House(1815) and identified by its distinctive Clock Tower. The museum has a fascinating display of Maritime history.

For those interested in our local history there is the interesting Simon`sTown museum situated in the historic Residency Building(1777).There is also the Heritage Museum and for children and adults alike, adjacent to the Town Hall there is the
Warrior Toy Museum.

The Simon`sTown Waterfront below Jubilee Square overlooks the yacht basin and town pier. Boat trips along the shore and in to the Naval harbour provide an opportunity to glimpse the new fleet of modern Navy vessels. There are also boat trips available to Seal Island and to Cape Point.

For those more adventurous, shark viewing trips can be had, including for some the thrill of going below the water in a viewing cage. Whale viewing boat trips are also available.

Sea Kayaking has become increasingly popular in Simon`sTown. Kayaks can be hired at the Waterfront.

Stay awhile in historic Simon`sTown and enjoy this beautiful part of the Cape Peninsula.

Cape Town itself is only forty five minutes drive from us as are the Winelands.
