From the Cape Town airport, take the N2 towards Cape Town. Approaching the mountain, keep in the left hand lane and take the left feed-off onto the M3, heading towards Muizenberg.
At the first set of traffic lights (intersection of Paradise Road and Rhodes Ave) turn right into Rhodes Ave , which will lead you past Kirstenbosch Gardens (on right) to a T junction where you turn right, continuing along Rhodes Drive towards Constantia Nek, (mountain on your right).
Before reaching Constantia Nek, turn left into Southern Cross Drive (well indicated), then first left into Dawn Ave. “Southdown Cottage” is located at no 4 Dawn Ave, (“Southdown”) , the second property on your right.
