Bedroom 3 With its high ceilings, this bedroom benefits from the same views as the other bedrooms, sharing the balcony with the master bedroom, and has a large wardrobe and air conditioning. The en-suite bathroom has a bath and a large shower.
Bedroom 4 High ceilings, with a pretty chandelier, double bed, dressing table and wardrobe, this bedroom also has lovely views looking North, an en-suite shower room, and sliding doors onto the balcony shared with the master bedroom, together with air conditioning.
Bedroom 5 We prefer to accommodate a maximum of 8 guests, but in exceptional circumstances, the playroom on the ground floor has a single bed and a sofa-bed, and its own large shower room and walk-in cupboard.
Bathroom 1 With its free-standing designer bath and shower for two people, this stunning bathroom is open to the bedroom, and enjoys beautiful views of Table Mountain both from the bath and shower. Finished in travertine and marble, with a pretty chandelier, it has 'his and hers' basins, each with a shaver point, and a bidet. Each of the showers is controlled by a push button control which tells you when the water is up to temperature, and there is a heated towel rail. |

Bathroom 2 This bathroom is exquisite. Again with two basins, set into marble atop a pretty vanity, with a beautiful mirror, it has a large bath recessed into travertine with beautiful views towards Table Mountain. It also benefits from a large shower and bidet, and the American Shutters between the bathroom and bedroom can be fully opened or closed for privacy. There is also a heated towel rail and shaver point.
Bathroom 3 Again finished to a very high standard in travertine, bathroom 3 has both a bath and a large frameless glass shower. The vanity has plenty of room to store toiletries, and there is a heated towel rail, extractor and shaver point.
Bathroom 4 This bathroom has probably one of the best views of any bathroom in Cape Town. You can stand in the shower and look over the sea towards the mountains in the distance, in total privacy! It has a pretty vanity, and American Shutters on the windows.
Bathroom 5 This bathroom is for the playroom/fifth bedroom and Jacuzzi room. It has a large walk-in shower, pretty tsunami basin, a bench and a heated towel rail.

At 84 square meters the lounge is more of a ballroom, with 10m long frameless glass doors opening out onto the outside entertainment area and pool, with incredible views. At one end of the lounge is a huge open fireplace, with antique hearth, rugs over the French oak floors, and comfortable sofas set around a coffee table. At the other end is a 3.5m wide projector screen, with a full HD projector that is just at home displaying the Rugby during the day using the HD satellite decoder, or a movie at night using the Blu-ray player. The latest Pioneer amp drives a full surround sound system which uses the most powerful ceiling speakers in the world.
The kitchen/dining room is the hub of the house, and benefits from views to the North, East and West. It has high ceilings with oak beams from the UK, oak floors, and a large mantelpiece over an English Aga stove. You can sit at the large oak topped island and chat with friends, look at the views or watch the LCD television, or entertain friends at the large dining table. In one corner is a powerful wood-burning stove, and in the other corner the full height glass windows drop down into the pool which wraps around two sides of the dining room. Step out to the North onto a sheltered balcony where you can sit and have breakfast and admire the 180 degree views, or to the West onto the entertainment area.
As you approach the house you are greeted by two large water features with fountains. Once you come through the large oak front door, the hall looks through a fish tank across the rimflow pool to the views beyond. Both the kitchen and living room open onto the outside entertainment area, with a sandstone table for 12, a large built in Braai with mantelpiece over, Belfast sink, fridge and large serving area. There is space to sunbathe in private, a designer outside shower, and a large seating area. Finally, there is a spectacular swimming pool with a 14 meter long rimflow and water fall. The pool is 8m long, and 2m deep, with a shelf to sit and enjoy the views. |
TV Room: Prepare to be entertained! Watch the 55 inch LED 3D television using the Blu-ray player or HD decoder, and immerse yourself in the sound of the Onkyo top quality amplifier and six B&W speakers, while relaxing on the large leather sofa in front of the wood burning stove.
Pool room: play pool on the snooker table, or have a game of table tennis, while enjoying the spectacle of your friends swimming the other side of a 2m wide 50mm thick window that looks into the swimming pool!
Playroom: relax and enjoy a different satellite programme on the 42” television, or play karaoke or computer games.
Jacuzzi Room: relax and unwind in your own private Jacuzzi with room for ten friends, and enjoy the spectacular views over Constantia towards Table Mountain while listening to music from the ceiling speakers.
Daily maid service is included, and a gardener comes weekly.
Stonehurst is one of the most secure developments in Cape Town. Access to the estate is restricted, and guards patrol the estate 24 hours a day. It is surrounded by high electrified fences and surveillance cameras, which is why high profile figures choose to live here. The estate has a lifestyle centre which guests are welcome to use free of charge. This includes a superb gymnasium, training pool, steam rooms and a bar.
There is garaging for two cars, and off street parking for two more cars, as well as plenty of parking on the road, which is a cul de sac and therefore has no traffic.
After leaving the estate, it is less than a minute to the M3 motorway, from where you can reach the city centre in 20 minutes. Opposite the estate is a good selection of restaurants, and within a few minutes drive is Steenberg Shopping Centre. We are also five minutes from the brand new Blue Route shopping centre - with its cinemas, restaurants and shops. |
