It is situated in the peaceful, safe and spacious neighbourhood of Golden Acre, Somerset West. The Corner Cottage is central to all attractions and within easy reach of the Somerset West's village as well as the Somerset Mall. It is 2km from the Helderberg Nature Reserve and beaches are within easy reach.  |

 Somerset West is surrounded by the majestic Hottentots Holland mountain range and The Cottage is also within easy reach of a number of historical sites, the Stellenbosch Wine Route as well as Erinvale, Strand and Stellenbosch golf courses. Visit the historical farms of Morgenster, Vergelegen, Fleur du Cap and Lourensford. Somerset West is an ideal base from which to tour the Western Cape. Being a mere 30 minutes drive from Cape Town, one can explore the excitement the mother city has to offer with it's world famous Table Mountain, the Cosmopolitan Waterfront, Robben Island, boat trips and numerous other attractions. Further afield, explore the majestic Chapman's Peak drive around the Cape Peninsula to Cape Point. Enjoy boat cruises or fishing expeditions from the harbour front in Gordon's Bay. Whale watching along the scenic Clarence drive from the Helderberg basin towards Hermanus, or the drive over the Sir Lowry’s pass onto Franschhoek and then back through numerous vineyards via Stellenbosch |
