The Old Winery is a 4 bedroom holiday home (with optional 1 bedroom cottage) situated in Constantia, the upmarket residential area associated with a number of world class wine estates in Cape Town and the beautiful Kirstenbosch Gardens. The Old Winery, which adjoins the gardens of Brookhill (a 9 bedroom luxury villa next door), is an historical building which was once a Constantia winery – hence the name! The Old Winery has now been restored to provide a very comfortable home with an abundance of character. |

 Surrounded by a wonderful one-acre garden of gentle rolling lawns, colourful flower beds and large shady trees – the outdoor areas of The Old Winery offers lots of fabulous space – ideal for families with children needing safe & relaxed areas to run around in, play games, and burn up all that energy – whilst parents soak up the summer sunshine next to the swimming pool, or siesta under the pergola-covered terrace. The pool also offers a pool net, an additional feature which makes The Old Winery even more suited to families with young children. |

Being a single storey dwelling, the house itself is all on one level, other than a loft area over the main bedroom. There is a very light and spacious double height living room with dining area, a pool side room with built-in barbeque (perfect for al fresco summer meals), a separate television room and a fully equipped kitchen. The Master Bedroom is on one side of the home, and has a dressing area and en-suite bathroom. The remaining three bedrooms are on the other side of the living areas - there is a second double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and two further small bedrooms, one with twin beds and the other with a double bed. |

 An optional guest cottage provides a further, separate 5th bedroom and living room. This cottage is not rented out to other guests during bookings (so there is no potential of compromising your privacy), but the cottage can be included in a booking, upon request, if 5 bedrooms are needed. Standard quotes are only for the 4 bedroom main house though.  Within 2 minutes drive of The Old Winery, you will find Constantia Uitsig, Buitenverwachting and Klein Constantia wine farms. There are excellent restaurants in the vicinity and beautiful beaches within 15 minutes drive. Constantia Village is your closest shopping mall – and it is only 5 minutes drive from The Old Winery. Constantia Village is home to art galleries, chic fashion boutiques, jewellers, lifestyle and interior décor shops, fresh food halls, music and book centres, beauty salons, banks, travel agencies and foreign exchange services - as well as a row of cosmopolitan restaurants and coffee shops. The Old Winery offers a fabulous all round package of quality 4 bedroom accommodation, child friendly environment, privacy, beautifully picturesque setting, and extremely convenient location – an excellent holiday home for your visit to Cape Town. The staff who service the home and the garden are helpful and caring – making the overall experience at The Old Winery just delightful!
