This beautiful one-bedroom apartment looks directly onto Robben Island, a panoramic view that includes the cityscape, vast expanse of the Atlantic, and the base of Signal Hill. Quietly nestled beneath the mountain, this self-catering accommodation hardly ever feels the wind and is an ideal location for exploring Cape Town’s summer festivities.

The apartment is brand new and stylishly furnished to suit those with a flair for modern design. The layout of the apartment is open-plan, taking advantage of the spectacular view. The elegant sleeping area is partially separated from the living area by a quaint, moveable screen-door, allowing guests to be able to enjoy their private view from the comfort of their bed. |

The kitchen is fully equipped with all-chrome facilities, stylish crockery and glassware, and comes with the additional bonus of it’s own washer/dryer combo machine.

The building itself is also brand new and has various advantages over others in the area: a spectacular pool area looks out onto Signal’s Hill, with Sea Point and Camps Bay below it; what better way to enjoy the African sun? The barbeque area also shares this view and is perfect for entertaining. |

For those in town looking for adventure, the city’s best restaurants, shops, bars, boutiques, coffee shops and humming nightlife are all only minutes away. The stark-white beaches of Camps Bay are a mere hop over the hill (a ten-minute drive at most), while Green Point below is steadily becoming one of the most popular areas for trendy boutiques, seafood restaurants, cocktail bars and a steamy nightlife.

Long Street is also an easy 5-minute drive away, the perfect place to grab a cappuccino and people-watch. There are also plentiful museums, art galleries and bookstores.

The Victoria and Alfred Waterfront is also only a 5-minute drive away, along with the cable-car that takes one up to Table Mountain, in the opposite direction. Those keen to exercise need only walk out the front door of the Bay views to find a footpath that takes one up to Lion’s Head. Pay attention to the moon, a monthly Cape Town ritual is to hike up Lion’s Head on full-moon night.
