Nestled against the backdrop of the majestic Table Mountain lies
The Walden House. Build in 1900, this gracious Victorian home and
garden suites, have been restored to it's original splendour and
refurbished with the most elegant finishes. It has a colonial style, with
a touch of Africa, and an open ambience without any clutter, with each
piece of furniture selected with a purpose.

There are seven elegant en-suite rooms that offer you an unique and private setting in colonial style: White cotton bedlinen, mosquito netting, white painted wooden floors and ceiling fans for hot African summer days. Four of the rooms offer direct access to the beautiful garden. The large luxury suite has a fireplace, large Victorian bathroom with separate shower and toilet. It offers direct access to the balcony with mountain views. All the bathrooms are luxurious with heated towel rails and brass fixtures. Each room has a television, telephone, wireless internet access and air-conditioning.


Breakfast is always a treat at The Walden House. The in-house chef offers you a wholesome colonial breakfast in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Dinner and lunch is done by arrangement and offers the guests a versatility of seasonal and local ingredients which are creatively prepared and beautifully served.

from Cape Town's finest beaches, Table Mountain, the Waterfront

CONFIRMATION / DEPOSIT / PAYMENT
A 50% deposit is payable on confirmation of reservations. The deposit must be received not later than 20 days prior to date of arrival, otherwise the booking will be release
All outstanding amounts must be settled on departure
Should you cancel your reservation less than 15 days before arrival, a 50% cancellation fee is due
A no show is subject to the full amount due

CREDIT CARD:
The 50% deposit will then be deducted from your credit card. Cash, Visa and Master cards are welcome. Please note that any accounts settled with American Express or Diners cards will have a 3% surcharge added.

CANCELLATION must be confirmed in writing by either fax or letter. If the cancellation is 15 days or less before arrival, 50% of the total amount is due. A no show is subject to the full amount due.
