Hermanus is the Whale Capital of South Africa, and offers the best land-based whale watching in the world. It is about 45 minutes drive from Gansbaai, which has became well-known for shark cage diving.
Whale Cottage Hermanus has a sparkling pool, and offers secure parking. It is safe to walk to the restaurants and shops.
