Wind-rose Guest House is situated on the gentle slopes of Firlands between Gordon’s Bay and Somerset West, near Cape Town (45km).-offering spectacular views of False Bay from Cape point to Table Mountain as well as the Hottentots Holland Mountain Range.


Wind-Rose Guest House offer 8 magnificent large double en-suite bedrooms which all open onto their own private terrace, where you can relax and enjoy the magnificent views and spectacular sunsets, or enjoy the peace and quiet of the 3-acre indigenous garden.



All rooms can accommodate four guests with a king size bed and a double sleeper couch. All rooms are air conditioned, equipped with satellite TV, bar fridges with mini bar, hairdryer, safe, wireless internet, coffee and tea making facilities, toiletries and ironing facilities. A wash and fold laundry facility is also available.

There is an informal bar /recreational room with a large screen TV, pool table and fully licensed bar where you are invited to socialize with other guests. The bar area opens onto the garden where the guests can enjoy a dip in the pool or can make use of either of the two complimentary Barbecue areas.

For the fitness enthusiast we have a fully equipped gym with a treadmill, cross trainer, rowing machine, bicycle
and weight machine.

Breakfast is served in the dining area. Raymond and Kimberley have sixteen years of experience of working as Captain and chef for the rich and famous on board luxury yachts. So no request, be it dietary or otherwise will be too much hassle.




Our conference facilities can accommodate up to 25 delegates and comes fully equipped
Flipcharts, White boards, wireless internet, fax facilities, and a multi media projector.
We can accommodate up to six breakaway groups without using the garden or outside patios.


We are close to Gordon’s Bay and its famous Bikini Beach (4 km) for swimming, surfing, fishing, boat charter trips and whale watching. We are 15 minutes from the Stellenbosch wine-route, 40 minutes from Table Mountain
Cable way and the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. Other activities in the area include Great White Shark diving,
cable tow water skiing and horseback riding.


Our modest rates are kept low to ensure that your visit to Wind-Rose Guest House
will be both a pleasant and affordable one.
