A stone’s throw from the beach, Aquaview is a triple-storey self catering guest house with breathtaking views of Longbeach, comfortably sleeping 8.

Retire to the bedroom watched by the moon and stars glistening across the ocean, as the sounds of the sea lull you to sleep. Awake to the soothing sound of waves breaking, as the gentle dawn breaks.

AquaView is situated atop a 3m high sand dune, bordering a greenbelt, just 70m from white, powder soft sand and the sparkling sea.

You can wander onto the beach with a glass of wine in hand, to enjoy the unique ambience and tranquility of Longbeach, and share the experience with whales, dolphins, seals and the rare sea otter!

The main entrance leads up to the second floor, where you will find an open plan granite kitchen and lounge with fireplace, leading onto a large wooden deck. The house is equipped with Wifi, DSTV, Bosch stove, microwave, fridge,
8-piece dinner service, vacuum cleaner, cleaning equipment etc.

Adjacent to the main living area is the master bedroom which leads onto the deck overlooking Longbeach and out towards Hout Bay. A complete granite bathroom with double stone basins, toilet, oval bath and overhead shower, make the second floor a liveable space on its own.

Large open plan “chill out room” with windows all round offering sea and mountain views of the Noordhoek Valley and the Indian Ocean.

The ground floor comprises of two bedrooms, each with a double bed, fitted cupboards and double sliding doors opening out onto the garden, shared bathroom with heated towel rail, shower, toilet and basin.

An interleading door adjoins the downstairs bedrooms with a separate self-contained studio with double bed, complete with en-suite bathroom and kitchenette. This can easily be utilised as a unit on its own, with a separate entrance leading out to the back garden and sliding doors leading out to the front garden and barbeque (braai) area.

The enclosed back garden with an outside hot water shower is perfect for after the beach. A separate laundry with washing machine, ironing board, iron and clothes line is at your disposal.

The front garden has a built-in barbeque (braai) area.

If you want action, you can surf world famous Longbeach and Sunset, go horse riding on Noordhoek’s pristine white beach, fishing, sailing, trekking, canoeing, diving, waterskiing, kite boarding, run along the beach and enjoy safe swimming. The sky's the limit, you can even take a flip in the legendary Huey helicopter and view it all from above. Kommetjie village is a short 5 minute stroll away where one may purchase essentials, visit our local pubs, or dine in our quaint restaurants.

Exquisite mountain trails lead from the village, meandering through unique fynbos, where one may encounter Chacma baboons, small antelope and the odd mongoose. Alternatively, relax at home, chill out on the deck, enjoy the magnificent views while working on a suntan and watching the action on the beach.


Cape Point Nature Reserve, 20 minutes drive. Where the two oceans meet, it is home to many of the Cape’s baboons and other animal species, restaurant facilities, nature trails and surfing.

Boulders Beach Penguin colony, 15minutes drive. Boulders has become world famous for its unique land based African penguin colony and magnificent wind sheltered, safe beaches. Is situated alongside the historical town of Simon’s Town.

Historical Simon’s Town, 15 minutes drive. Simon’s Town is not only home to our naval base, but is a charming coastal town with many historical buildings, hidden corners and cobbled streets to delight the explorer.

Golf courses, 15 minutes drive. Cape Town has an abundance of excellent golf courses.

Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, 25 minutes drive. Situated along the eastern slopes of Table Mountain. With the outdoor summer concerts taking place every Sunday evening from 5.30 pm, this is the perfect setting for a picnic and bottle of wine. Take the family and enjoy the magnificent surrounds!

V & A Waterfront, 30 minutes drive. Live music in the open-air amphitheatre, cinemas, historic buildings, the Two Oceans Aquarium, boat trips to Robben Island, restaurants and over 240 retail outlets, will keep you and the family entertained.

Table Mountain, 30 minutes drive. Table Mountain is over 1000 meters high and is well worth the walk to the top! For the not so energetic the cable car runs daily.

Cape Winelands, 15 – 60 minutes drive. The Cape wines rate among the best in the world. With a choice of Constantia (10 minutes drive), Stellenbosch (45 minutes drive) and Paarl (1 hours drive) wine routes, you will be spoilt for choice with wine tasting, restaurants and magnificent scenery.

Whale watching in season, August to October. From the Aquaview deck and the beach! The arrival of the Southern Right Whales to calve during the months July to November offers visitors spectacular sightings. Boat trips from Simon’s Town jetty offer an alternative way to view these magnificent mammals, where they are often seen frolicking along the coast.

Take the M3 from Cape Town to Fish Hoek. Go over OU KAAPSE WEG and proceed past Longbeach Mall on your right . At the 4-way stop, turn right into KOMMETJIE ROAD. 5km further on before the Kommetjie Village turn right into KOMMETJIE BOULEVARD, towards the sea! Keep going straight, do not turn of the road. The name changes to GREENWAYS DRIVE. 4th last house on the right before DUIKER ROAD T-Junction, Number 40. (The large white house with a curved roof). If you are having
