The Kingfisher Corner which is located on a site that is on the water’s edge. The houses are placed high above the estuary of Swartvlei, the largest lake in the area. Most of the year it is tidal and there is a wonderful feeling of mountains, lagoon and sea from the property. Steps are to be found going down to the water’s edge.
Hiking, bird-watching, fishing, swimming, canoeing, cycling are a few of the many activities to be had from the front door. However, relaxing and sitting around will usually take up most of your time.

The Accommodation

The house is spaciously designed, with 2 comfortable bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, furnished for comfortable living. An ample kitchen is part of the living area, and a balcony has a wonderful view of the estuary and the mountains. It is positioned for privacy, so that even though there are 3 houses on the property, The Kingfisher Corner has its own space. If there are more than 4 people, then The Other Corner has 2½ bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one en-suite) and will accommodate 5. This cottage is positioned closer to the water, and also has a stunning outlook from a balcony. This is an old style beach cottage, with wooden floors and comfortable living area.

Both apartments are wheel-chair friendly.
