Words escaped me as I walked into house number 24 in the Ballots Bay nature reserve - Clifftop House. 180 Degree views stretching from Victoria Bay all the way past George - blue waters crashing into the mountain side as far as the eye can see.
The first few minutes in this house are the best as you take in the views all around you, knowing that this is going to be your home for the next few days.
The gorgeous, open-plan wooden house has 3 bedrooms, all with views of the sea and
mountainside. Each bedroom is en-suite and the wooden finishes are perfectly complimented by the bright, chic, beach-themed decor.
The 'main' bedroom has a bathroom that's just as big as the bedroom, the main feature of which is a huge bath that lets you relax whilst taking in the stunning scenery all around you.
The spacious lounge gives way to a massive 2-level balcony where we spent most of our time, relaxing and trying to comprehend the endless views we had.
Henry, the owner and designer of the house, did a marvellous job in creating a home that blends perfectly into its bushy surroundings and capitalizes on the sea and landscapes around you.
We were hard pressed to find a single place in the whole house that didn't have a view of the ocean.
Many thanks to Henry and Sally who graciously opened their gorgeous accommodation to us.
We'll definitely be back soon!
