This wonderful 5-7 bedroomed home commands an unsurpassed view, the entire house opening onto an incredible elevated vista with Kalk Bay Harbour in the foreground and behind it the whole sweep of False Bay down to Cape Point. From the impressive main entrance and expansive high-ceilinged living areas to the smallest cloakroom, the feeling in this lovingly restored house is of gracious living. seating up to 14, and a porch - all of which open
onto uninterrupted sea views. These three rooms
can be opened out to make one enormous

| The Upper Level is reached by an impressive teak staircase and contains 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, all with stunning views and decorated with 5-star finishes throughout - including amazing glass-fronted Art Deco drawers and wardrobes.
Main Bedroom: The Master Bedroom is enormous with an en-suite bathroom, extra length Queen-size bed, walk in cupboards, and a lounge area which opens onto the distinctive arched balcony overlooking Kalk Bay. Bedroom 2: The Green Bedroom contains two extra-length single beds (which can be joined to make a King size bed) and faces the sea, overlooking Kalk Bay harbour. Also contains a beautiful original tiled Deco basin. Bedroom 3: The Blue Bedroom contains a Queen size bed, faces the sea overlooking Kalk Bay harbour, and has a second beautiful side window facing the mountain. Features another original tiled Deco basin. Bedroom 4: Contains twin beds (which can be joined to make a King size bed) and a superb en-suite bathroom with shower. There is an additional bathroom with shower on this level. Bedroom 5 & 6 – The Apartment Contains two double bedrooms, en suite bathroom, and furnishing to a very high standard. Entrance is either through the house or, if preferred, by separate entrance. Ideal for grown up children or small families in a group. The Apartment may be rented separately, as required. Kitchen The kitchen is fully equipped and has a separate scullery with washing machine, additional fridge/freezer and a microwave. |

| It's not difficult to see why people love it: though only 25 minutes from the heart of Cape Town, the mood is unique – there is a holiday atmosphere as fishermen from the working harbour ply the waters. KALK BAY has its own distinct pace – interesting people stroll along the wharf and browse the quirky shops or sip on Cape wines at the superb restaurants.
Families love it because unlike much of the Cape, the sea in False Bay is warm and safe, and there are numerous beaches, nature reserves and beautiful walks in the vicinity. If you prefer to be more active, you can go deep-sea fishing or sailing and there are three excellent golf courses nearby. From July to October Whales grace the shoreline around Kalk Bay harbour and the majestic mammals can be seen and heard from the balcony. |
