This lovely historic house is set in the heart of leafy Rondebosch,in the shadow of Table Mountain and Devils Peak.The house was built according to the Arts and Crafts style of architecture, finding favour in Victorian England and its colonies.


Roodenburg was its original name and was named after the original allotment at this site to one of Jan Van Riebeek’s “free burgers”

Roodenburg House, in its recent renovation, strives to abide by the same values, with much of the interior design and landscaping reflecting that period and its principles.		 All our bedrooms are en-suite, with air-condition/heating, Wifi, LCD TV, DSTV, ADSL, Private safes, hairdryers and fluffy
towelling gowns.

We have a gym, a lovely private sun room, relaxing pool area and landscaped garden. We have very safe gated off street parking.

Roodenburg House is only a 12 minute drive to Cape Town International Airport, and a 10 minute drive to the CBD and the Waterfront.
