L’Ermitage Quagga Lodge
is the proud home of approximately 40 Quaggas, which have been rebred out of extinction. The lodge also has a couple of other rare species roaming its plains. These include the Blonde Wildebeest, Blonde Gemsbok (Oryx), Sable, Springbok, and Buffalo. The Berg River estuary is also an important bird habitat, as it is home to around 30,000 birds. Daily Game Drives are available for our guests at an additional fee, offering a rare opportunity to see these beautiful animals in their natural habitat.
L’Ermitage Quagga Lodge consists of 5 modern Chalets overlooking the river. Each Chalet has two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a spacious lounge and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen as well as inside and outside BBQ facilities. Each Chalet offers complimentary WiFi, DSTV satellite channels and ceiling fans. The Chalets are booked on a Self Catering basis.

50% deposit to be paid to confirm a booking. Balance to be paid 7 days prior to arrival. L’Ermitage Quagga Lodge accepts children of all ages, using existing bedding. L’Ermitage Quagga Lodge offers one complimentary baby cot per unit for children under 2. L’Ermitage Quagga Lodge does not offer additional bedding. Check-in from 14:00 at the Lodge Office. Please advise the property if you will arrive after 20:00. Check-out by 10:00. The credit card used to make the online booking needs to be presented at check-in. A copy of the cardholder's Id/Passport is required on arrival.
