Ocean Residence – Holiday Home

We invite you to enjoy our spacious holiday home with fantastic ocean views. The living room and two of the bedrooms feature glass sliding doors, offering uninterrupted views of the ocean and False Bay.

The home is equipped with Vox Fiber for fast and reliable internet access. The living room connects seamlessly to the dining area, and the kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary amenities. The bedrooms offer ample cupboard space, and the main bedroom includes an en suite bathroom.

Situated in a tranquil neighbourhood, this house is perfect for couples or small families with children aged 10 and above. It’s also ideal for remote work, thanks to the fast, uncapped fiber internet.

You’ll find plenty of space, fully equipped for a perfect holiday or an extended stay. A large terrace provides stunning views of the ocean and mountains, and there is ample, secure parking available in the remote-controlled double garage.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to three bedrooms, two bathrooms, the lounge, dining room, kitchen, veranda, and garage.

Other Things to Note:
Baboons roam freely in the greater Simon’s Town area and are frequent visitors. While they are fascinating to watch, they are wild animals and should be treated with caution. Feeding them is illegal and leads to habituation. Your host will provide details and updates on baboon activity, advising when to keep doors and windows closed temporarily.

Please note, there are 13 steps from the garage and parking area to the front door. Inside, there are three steps leading to the bedrooms and bathrooms. The property is not wheelchair accessible and is unsuitable for those unable to climb stairs.

Occasionally, South Africa experiences “load shedding,” where electricity is turned off for about two hours at a time. The fiber internet has a backup battery, so you will remain connected during these periods. Your host will provide a schedule of load shedding times to keep you informed.
