What does it cost to advertise on Cape Stay?

For R800 your property will be listed for a full year. That includes the setting up which Cape Stay will complete for you.

Does Cape Stay take commission or procure bookings?

We do not take any commission of our standard listings, nor do we get involved in the booking process between clients and hosts. All our enquiries go directly to the host. See our Nightsbridge FAQ for more information on Nightsbridge connected properties.

How does it work if I use Nightsbridge to manage my bookings?

If you are a Nightsbridge user, you can advertise your property for free. We will however include your NBBID on your listing which will enable us to process online bookings using the Nightsbridge booking engine. All bookings will then incur a 15% booking commission.

Our guest house has a “No under 12” child policy. PLEASE NOTE: NO CHECK IN OR OUT 25th DECEMBER.
We can accommodate up to 24 guests in 3 standard rooms, 2 deluxe rooms, a mountain view studio room in Albertyn Street, and sea facing apartments at Whale Rock Estate.
The downstairs rooms at the guest house each have tea/coffee making facilities, flat screen DSTV, free WI-FI, safety deposit box, over-head fans, wall heaters, pool towels and an en-suite shower room. (Deluxe rooms have fridge, private patio area with braai).
Our upstairs studio room is accessed from a private entrance, and includes a kitchen area with microwave/grill, fridge, kettle & toaster, bathroom with shower& bath, full DSTV, WI-Fi, & air con for those hot summer nights. The private deck is spacious with 2 sun-loungers, an undercover seating area, & gas braai.
Breakfast at the Guest House boasts fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, toast, egg & bacon and a variety of homemade goodies: pancakes, rusks, preserves and fresh baked bread, freshly squeezed juice (in season).
Guests are invited to enjoy the flood-lit pool area with sun-loungers, tables and chairs. They may also use the BBQ/braai. Utensils, glasses, crockery and cutlery are provided.
The Potting Shed Guest House is ideally situated in a quiet side-street off Hermanus Main Road. Come and explore our town centre, restaurants, cliff paths and sea, all just a short walk away.

If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.If cancelling 8 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the booking total.

SELF CATERING ONLY: Please note that Balance is due on arrival. We do not refund if you leave prior to your departure date due to weather or any personal circumstances. I understand that on check-in, my ID/passport must be shown & credit card details provided as security for any damages, breakages or lost key. Alternatively a R1000 deposit is required. This will be refunded after inspection of the apartment, within 24 hours. Please note that for December/January reservations in sea facing, self catering apartments, balance is due 21 days prior to arrival. Please check your insurance covers you for cancellations if necessary. ALL CHECK-INS ARE AT GUEST HOUSE IN 28 ALBERTYN STREET. Check in is from 2.00pm. Apartments are not ready before this time. PLEASE NOTE: NO CHECK IN OR OUT ON THE 25TH DECEMBER.
