With 10 distinct rooms, a new restaurant and bar, two pool areas, a wellness room and ample gardens, the Robertson Small provides superlative service to our guests, maintaining the standards that make it Robertson’s only five-star hotel.
Designer Sophie Ashby decorated each of the 10 rooms at The Small with the same principles in mind, but each has its own character, with custom artworks and designs from an innovative list of collaborators to bring colour, warmth and soul to the building.
“I have used 12 different colour tones throughout the hotel and each room varies slightly in combination. I was inspired by the local terrain, flora and fauna, so there’s elements of clay, ochre, aloes, the mountains – colours you could be surrounded by whatever the weather, wherever you are. I wanted there to be a strong link between outside and in.”

Check-in / Check-out: Check-in is from 14h00 on the day of arrival, and check-out is by 11h00 on the day of departure. All extras are to be settled prior to departure. We will however endeavour to accommodate guests for an earlier check-in or a late check-out time if requested, subject to the availability of rooms. *Cardholder & ID/Passport is required at check-in. *Credit card used for the online deposit must be present at check-in.
