Enjoy an emerald day on Forest walks, picnics or biking trails, horse riding nearby, canoe at the “Drift”, enjoy a massage or beauty treatment, laze in a hammock or at the beach, or on an adventure activity or trip to Knysna town (30 leisurely minutes away). After a refreshing hot-water outdoor shower or relaxing indoor bath, mellow out on the verandah with sundowners.
Watch a bushbuck or baboon family drink at the dam. Light a braai (barbeque) under the stars to the chorus of frogs; flitting fireflies and evocative nightjars add to the enchantment. In winter, enjoy a book or movie in front of a cozy log-fire.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT Check-in is between 15:00-20:00. Check-out is between 08:30-10:00. Early or late check-in or checkout by prior arrangement only and subject to a gate-fee of R300. The property does not cater for unannounced day visitors. PAYMENT TERMS A 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation (100% if the arrival date is less than 10 days from today). The balance is due 10 days prior to arrival. If the balance is not received in good time, the property remains the right to re-sell the unit(s) without further notice. CANCELLATION POLICY (Relaxed Version) The full amount is payable in case of a cancellation or postponement of dates less than 10 days prior to arrival, no-show, early departure, discounted offers or group bookings of more than one cottage. Discounts are not applicable in case of a change of dates, reduced number of units, guests or nights. If the property is able to resell a unit, any refund will be at the property’s sole discretion. If cancelling 10 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit If cancelling more than 30 days, before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit COVID-19 Regulations: If a guest is unable to stay at Forest Edge due to lockdown travel restrictions imposed by the Government, the guest will be allowed to move their reservation once, within 12 months from original date of stay, without forfeiting any monies already paid by the guest. The new booking must be on the same basis as the original booking.
